I'm a poorfag (well, that and fuck moving) in a small studio, so I decided to maximize my existing desk space (and the air around it). <$100 later I now have a vertical monitor mounted and my laptop with a virtual KVM letting me use my laptop as yet another monitor. Also the arm mounts double as cable management. Made my desk great again.

Color reproduction will be better, IPS glow/backlight bleed will be unaffected. If you look at those glowing corners perpendicular to the display, will they still emit glow more so than the other display area or is the glow perhaps moved elsewhere on the screen into areas which you are now looking at in an angle? From what I can see in the photo that does look more like backlight bleed more than IPS glow.

No the table top doesn't wobble, it's too heavy for that. It's so heavy it flexed due to its own weight. The Linnmonn I had before did wobble a bit though if there was no speakers on either side of the desk.

I mostly have it for figuring out closed chords and using the controllers for synth tweaking. I'm going to buy a Nektar Impakt LX88 as a replacement in the near future though.
I know, the setup isn't much special. I'm actually pretty poor. Moving in with a mate next month and going to improve from there, starting with a new desk, GPU upgrade and better monitors.

The Indy does sit beneath my monitor, but I don't just use it as a stand. It works fine and I use it sometimes for the retro IRIX experience.
Part of the reason it is there is that the only two Sync-on-Green capable monitors I have are the LCD on the far left and the CRT on the SparcStation. And I'd rather not stack my workstations under the CRT, because that's a pain to deal with when I need to switch cables or open up one of the systems.

I played from when I was 4 until I was around 20. I'm 33 now, and didn't play at all from 21-31 (school and apartment living wasn't conducive to having a piano around, and they're expensive anyways!). I was very good when I stopped, but I was never great, and wasn't willing to dedicate the amount of practice it would take to get there, so I went on with my life doing other things.
I was OK at reading sheet music, but never great. My sight-reading was never up to snuff, and unless I wanted to spend a few weeks learning something, I would stick to melody lines and chords and just go from there.
