I use it when I'm on Windows. It's alright, but not as good as a real package manager like you'd get on a *nix system. Still, it's better than nothing, and I much prefer it to having to download Windows apps the traditional way.

You could technically use the Windows store, but fuck that. Ninite is the preferred option, imo. Though "cup all -y" is very handy for being lazy, so chocolatey has that going for it.
