My first mobile device and the reason I use an Android phone was an 2nd generation iPod touch. Hated how you needed iTunes to transfer anything to it, and the fact that music transfer was one-way. It just felt very crippled and locked-down. Everyone in school at the time had an iPhone, and I would've gotten one too if I didn't experience the shit that was iOS.

iPhones are great within their own ecosystem. I've had an android and an iPhone both for extended periods of time. Compared to android using an iPhone is a lot simpler and faster in my experience. The only problem is, the second you want to use it for something outside of what Apple designed, it becomes a massive pain in the ass.

I used to work as an engineer at Apple. I helped revise the iPhone 3GS SecureROM and helped in the production of the S5L8940 and S5L8942 found in the iPhone 4s and iPod touch 5G. The FBI opened a 5c. The iPhone 5 and 5c both share the S5L8950. The A5 and A6 bootroms share some extremely similar vulnerabilities in the heap and main stacks. These vulnerabilities happen to look a lot like the ones in the A4 bootrom which was publicly exploited. If you're asking me I'd say that all Apple products are indeed backdoored at the lowest level. I've been able to dump the bootrom of an iPhone 6 to take a closer look. The instructions used for DFU mode seem to be vastly different from anything I've seen before. I'm not sure what to make of this but I don't think it's a mistake. My suggestion is that you and everyone else in this thread should buy a cheap used Android phone and flash CyanogenMod. Stop letting big brother ass fuck you.
