Will we ever reach a point when android won't lag anymore or is it doomed no matter what?
I mean some android phones have up to 6gb of ram nowadays and octacore processors. Do you think in a few years hardware improvements will make android fast, stable and smooth as ios?

I have the OnePlus 3, and there is no app lag whatsoever. Animation lag though, that's a different story.

It's due to the bloatware pre-installed on them. However you can easily disable it and even remove it to get faster performance.
Anyway iPhones are never worth it because of pic related even if they do open up angry birds 2 seconds faster.
