Depends on which shill you choose to look at sempai; and let's not forget that they are still on diferent price brackets, especially if we focus on launch prices (debatable methodoly, but both have their merits).
And this card got a nice overall perf increase around 3 to 5% and power consumption adjustments right after its first week. Given AMD's track record of incremental gains spread along each new iteration of drivers, this card is looking even better in the long run.
Another point that should be worth noting is that the yet to released AIB cards probably had a bios review after this debacle. So they'll come out even better.

Tbqh I think it'll be a fine card when AiB's release and they switch 6pin to 8pin for power and fix the PCIe power draw issue. I'm curious to see how well the AiB 1060 will do in DX12 games such as BF1 and Vulkan supported games like DOOM.
I need a GPU but I'm sitting tight till I see AiB benchmarks. Both will be good but one will be better and I suspect that'll be the 1060. The 192 bus is worrying tho

I think the GTX 480 is arguably the worst card ever
I just got mine and it was idling around 60c after boot with the rest of the components at 30 or lower. It was up to 67c when I changed fan settings and its starting to drop now, currently at 46.
Did the new drivers to fix the power issues fuck up fan settings?
