S7 without the edge is really nice. One you change a lot of the default apps to one's you like, the biggest problem is getting used to the reversed button order

Not this. Touchwizz is literally garbage. It slows incredibly over time, and there's a lot of kinks you won't like about it. Out of place and missing animations, slow and or missing features. Tons of bloat. Of course you or reviewers won't notice or comment on it because it doesnt happen for 2 or 3 months buts it's almost guaranteed to have these issues unless you never use your phone.
It's Samsung and its touchwizz. And I have the note 4, the note 5, and my brother has the S7 and my mom the S6 edge.
Both of theirs are only 3 weeks old and they're already bitching. And they're not even tech people.

Except it does. I've owned and had EXTENSIVE experience with iterations of all generations from Samsung because that's all people buy anymore.
I'm even currently running touchwizz on MM. Not sure if my brother installed it on it S7 yet but on my superior-than-note5 note4 is running MM and its the worst pole of garbage I've ever used. Id give anything to go back to KitKat. It was the final head in the nail here for me to purchase a GSM chinkphone and switch carriers.
I went with the OP3 despite having a weak battery. I'm hoping the 1080p screen will remedy the weak battery issue.

The note 4 is good on KitKat and to a very small extent lollipop. But battery is terrible on lollipop.
I have Verizon so the entire phone is locked bur if you can find a ROM that supports the s-pen, go for it. I personally hate it because of touchwizz's bloat. Its great for a month and then it just slows horribly. I think that fast charging might be a factor. I had it replaced and damaged two phones so I've gone through 4 phones now. It heats up quite a lot. Not sure if it's a throttling issue, heat damage issue or bloat issue only.
