What is a fish? What is medpack bantz day?

I never understood why amateur traders nearly always chose fx as their first markets? I mean, it's probably the most difficult asset class in which to make money.

Read stories about people that lost several thousands after Swiss ditch franc cap.

You have to know that under specific circumstances if you have invested 1000$ there is possibility that you will end up with a debt that is much bigger than your lost 1000$.

There are different kind of brokers, market marker, ecn etc.

Seems so simple to trade only currencies

why?

Get some nice ETFs with low fees, preferably spread amongst US, EU and maybe a small part China, then wait.

If you want to gamble then go to a casino, then at least you can drink and have fun while losing your money

Yeah well I wouldn't recommend it as currencies are notoriously difficult to trade and that is coming from a former trader. As a novice you might as well just be playing roulette — the odds won't even be even because there are HFTs who design algos to hunt for fodder like you.

I'm not sure, maybe do what this guy recommends >>55441753. If you do really want to trade something pick something easier — even energies are easier to trade than forex. If you want to make money, you can't dabble in it (at least at the beginning). And I would recommend lots of paper trading before actually commuting any money to it. When paper trading write down what you are doing and don't fool yourself into thinking what you would have done — write down your entry and exits as though it was a real trade.

Guy in my office lost €1.6 million on that one. He was fired 3 hours later even though everyone knew there was little he could have done.

FinFX or Oanda are what i am using my demo accounts on.
