What I want is a non-reference card (something I can OC without melting my goddamn motherboard or GPU) that costs less than $220.
Do you see that happening? No?
Then fuck that shit, I'm buying an R9 290.

intel has done shady shit in the past, especially when they were actually getting beat by amd
nvidia has their gameworks stuff that gimps amd cards
>>Intel just keeps pushing the performance envelope while lowering prices
i5's still cost $200
unlocked i5's still cost $250
>>There is literally no reason for AMD to exist
without amd, intel looses their license to make x86-64 processors
>>55429060
Yeah, I know. That's at stock clocks though. If I want to overvolt and overclock my GPU then chances are things are gonna get a little scary in there. Now if I was fine with stock clocks, great, I'd buy one now, but considering I want to OC and every AIB is like "nah mane, 8GB only", I'm probably just going to get the 290 because theres no better card under $200.

You realize that post was entirely sarcastic, right?
