Depends on the SSD, they will last you years, what will get fucked fast on low quality ones (PNY, Kingston, etc) will be the controller and the SSD will shit the bed.

I have it. No problems. Can't remember the performance but it's not terrible and about on par with my adata sp. Just get whatever is cheapest and not shit tier. Sandisk and adata are fine.
My 1 TB mushkin hasn't failed me yet and $250 for 1 TB just can't beat that price.

You cant expect same level of reliability from digital flash drives (SSD) as from analog hard drives (HDD).
The average lifespan of SSD is like 5 years, slowly the digital degeneration destroys the flash cells in SSD.
