Post your SSD and HDD speeds and what type they are.
What type is yours anon?
Also mine is a 250GB Samsung EVO 850. This is the first time I've ran the test and it seems pretty nice desu.
Though this is without using the Samsung disk that came with it. I had a friend tell me installing whats on the disk improves performance but I haven't tried it yet, should I?

Scatch the first part of my comment, I didn't read your thumbnail. Sorry OP.
>>55420343
It's ok.

I think you should install the disc.

Sure let me go grab it and I'll post the results.

This anon again, holy crap rapid mode makes a huge difference on the benchmark. Only downside I read was that it takes some ram away, but I have ram to spare so that's no issue.
>>55420693
It obviously uses a ram drive as cache.

samsung magician just has a simple click-to-set performance option. however all it does is set the power profile to high performance. i was interested in if it made any difference so on a clean install i did a bunch of perf tests before installing it then the same tests again after installing it and setting it to max performance. there was no difference. it does have some nice info on drive stats though if you care about that. personally i dont give a shit about them/
I believe there is new Firmware that has some performance improvements, but I refuse to flash it because I know i'll fuck up
MX100 if you're blind

Type help at the command prompt.
Well I figure this would be a good place to ask. Just looking for a cheap HHD that won't melt in a year on me for very general use. Probably just store some movies and shit on it so speed isn't really an issue.
Is WD blue still "good" or has the QC gone to shit?
Probably getting a 4TB or 6TB

I'm an incredibly casual watcher. I just happen to have the weeb version because it's cute.
I think my OCZ Vertex 3 might die soon.
