So I just got a nice new mouse that I'll only specifically be using when I play FPS games. When I'm just fucking around on the internet or whatever I'll be using my shitty one.

Is there any way that I can completely disable and cut off power to the good mouse while I'm not using it so its not sitting there on the whole time?

I've looked around the internet and all I can find is people wanting to know how they can turn it off when they shut the computer off. I've tried disabling the USB ports in device manager and it stops the mouse from working but the sensor is still on and shit.

I don't know.. won't it extend the life of the mouse if it's only on for gaming? It wasn't cheap and I'd like it to last as long as possible.
