>air is a conductor

>metal conducts heat (try touching an ironing iron)

>delidded cpu's need no heatsink

i removed thermal pastes from ps4 / wii U and PC... my life is ten times better now

Air is conductor only if there is sufficient airflow. Otherwise it is a very, VERY good insulator.

because you have no functional entertainment electronics to distract you from more fulfilling goals?
>>
>>55413794
no. less memes up my ass
>>
What is surface area?
>>
>>55413688
air is a shit conductor of heat, which is why airflow is critical
the only reason we use air for cooling is because it's convenient
and the reason heatsinks are big with a lot of surface area is because air is a shit thermal conductor (this is also why water blocks are much smaller)

Very true, actually air is modeled as a insulation material if no movement

>very, VERY

Why do you talk like a complete retard?

>Otherwise it is a good insulator.

This is perfectly adequate. You don't need to add very to everything. Sooner or later you normiefags will ruin the word like what you done to "literally".

>falling for bait

hey, air is better than chocolate as a thermal insulator so there's that

worse than butter though, croissants confirmed better than pan au chocolates

Anyway, there is nothing wrong with the way he talks, in fact it's a very, VERY good way to talk when trying to really, REALLY emphasize on something important

>E6300
this thing doesn't even need a proper cooler.
>ps4 / wii U and PC
you need to be at least 18 to post here.

Never had to worry about after market coolers on all my over clocked cpu for the last ten years. Everything from an athlon 2800 getting a few extra hundred mhz to an e6300 going above 3.6 ghz. Stock coolers were now than enough. Ambient air temperature was always fine with decent case ventilation. That was until I bought an amd 290x. Jesus three fans on an 11 inch card and it needed every one.
