Is positive or negative air pressure ideal?
You can accurately figure out air flow and pressure and all that shit from your fans specs right?
I usually just slap sum dem glowing blue fuckers all over the place then crank my megahurts :DDD
happy 4th of buly :DDDDDDDDD
>Antec 300
>2x 120mm front fans intake
>1x 120mm rear exhaust
All other fan ports and major openings covered and taped off.

I prefer a positive airflow if there is a front intake air filter to make sure dust doesn't get pulled in through every little crack or opening in the case.

A positive air flow would result in more air being taken in as opposed to being pushed out. This results in air escaping wherever it can. My brain is telling me that would result in almost no dust, or dust built up around vents with out fans. But if it's a negative air flow those same vents would be passively sucking in air... so yeah I guess an intake filter would be best for positive as it doesn't let dust inside so your exhausts have no dust to clog themselves with. Am I right? If intake filters are best for positive, what would be best for negative?

I have seven fans mounted to my case, air comes in from bottom, front, and back side with filters, and exhausts through top and rear
it's a silverstone raven rv03
the insides could be cleaner but it's not terrible

>Antec 300
1x120 front
1x120 side
1x120 rear
1x140 top
All fans pwm controlled by mbo, absolutely no noise at idle.

i have tried two configs, this one is cooler than the next one ill post.

I pbrush.exe'd it for you.
Also the top 3 fans and waterpump are on the CPU PWM signal.
The other 3 fans are another motherboard header.

>this one is hotter
Makes sense, since hot air wants to go "up" and you are blowing down on it.
Nonexistent.
Seriously, I don't have any fans in my computer besides the ones in my PSU and the CPU. I clean it each two months with an air compressor just in case.

what the fuck happened to that PC?
>>55407639
Jesus Reid you clearly haven't cleaned that once since you built it...

In my case (pun HHAA) it lowered cpu by 5℃ (fx 4300 @ 4.7ghz) and lowered my gpu (r7 370) from 82℃ to 70℃ with a 150mhz oc.
can we all agree that airflow is a meme?
