The original nspire cas is around $30 used. That's as cheap and powerful as you can get.
I have to TI Nspire Cas do you guys know any program similar to ME Pro that is available for the TI 89 and older models? I am having a hard time finding useful software for the Nspire series

If you don't want to pirate Mathematica or MATLAB, just use Python with numpy, sympy and matplotlib and have something 100 times as powerful as your shitty nerd toys.
As a Computer Engineering major do I actually need a graphing calculator? You're not allowed to use a calculator in AP Calc and I haven't used a calculator in a few years. Most professors don't even let you use programmable calculators anyway. I have this old scientific calculator from a few years ago. Would this suffice? My cousin (an EE major) said he never needed anything more than a scientific calculator (unless it was some serious shit that required matlab).
