No memeing. I've used kodi/xbmc since original xbox times but kinda wanted to get 1080p transcoded streams to my android so I tried out plex last night. Couldn't get the scraper to see my mkv's, even though I named and renamed and organized my directories, so I uninstalled that piece of shit. Why it can't show the files without any scraping?
Well, now I'm configuring emby, I'll try it out, too.

Plex and Emby aren't players, they're media servers. I personally use emby and Kodi myself though

I in fact uninstalled mx player recently. Can't recall why, but I'm content with vlc for the time being.
But the thing is that I want to play 720p/1080p stuff over the vpn from my nas so I can't use mxplayer/vlc for that, I have to transcode it to lower resolution on the fly due to limited bandwidth.
