I have an old hp pavilion dv1000. It crashed years and years ago. Is it worth brining it back to life? Would it survive today's world?

Funny, it runs like the slowest shit in my 7 yo HP. It must be those last updates. I seriously think MS in slowing old OS so people install W10.
