How can a browser and extensions consume so much RAM? Please /g/! Tell me!
>>55379876
Because you use shit extensions, remove WOT, Disconnect and Privacy Badger, you don't need either of those when using uBlock Origin.

But uBlock doesn't block and remove social media buttons, and doesn't protect against tracking.
It also doesn't say if a website I'm about to visit is safe or not.
And the browser itself uses too much RAM. I'd like to know why.

uBlockO actually does little to prevent modern tracking techniques like fingepriinting. PBadger blocks are based on observed script behavior rather than block lists, so it eventually does a better job. Both are useful, and running both at the same time makes sense. In fact, you could even add NoScript to that stack with allow-all and cascading permissions to take advantage of it's anti-XSS shit while still using uBlockO's superior interface for script blocking.
