Besides, push mowers aren't really that much more space efficient or less costly, especially when you factor in replacement parts and maintenance and the fact that you can just hang your modern mower just as easily.

I'm novelty and curiosity-driven for sure with old shit, but after playing with it and putting it to work, I just have a hard time calling it truly useless, at least in the literal sense. I still use my newer systems all the time, they're very convenient, snappier, but ultimately, they don't feel all that different. Probably the biggest thing I miss when I mess around with an old box other than reasonable web capability is color in Excel, that shit really makes a difference at times.
Basically, I understand your perspective, but I'd rather agree to disagree, I just don't think it deserves to be knocked as much like that, there's all kinds of cool shit it can still do.
