Anyone else looking forward to more budget cards like the 460x or 470?
Have they fixed the driver overhead? I'm still using an i3 2120 so I'm not sure if I should go with ATI 460x or maybe a gtx1050.

I'm waiting for aftermarket 480s personally. As for which lower end card to go for I wouldn't be too concerned over it right now because we know somewhere between jack and shit about them.
AMD seems to be dropping the (x) suffix though, so there will likely only be a 460 and a 470 with aftermarket cards filling the price gaps.

Yeah problem is the 480 is too powerful for me, I don't need that kind of performance so it'll be a waste of money.
I should be fine on my 260x for a little longer though

You wont need it now, but perhaps later. 8GB will be adequate for the foreseeable future.

>budget cards
>costs more than $50
I would never go beyond that for a gpu. Never.

Modern IGPUs from even fucking INTEL is better than a GT730
There is no reason to buy a GPU that performs less than at least a 750TI

This. I can't wait for zen APUs.
Why don't they go smaller than itx?
