I hear they can take a beating. My last laptop broke after it fell off my desk so I'm thinking of getting a Thinkpad.

I have a desktop for gaming , so I don't worry about gaming performance

Everyone says only buy X, T, whatever the fuck series, but don't believe them. They're just shilling for outdated hardware with shit screens. I just got a Thinkpad Yoga 14 from best buy a month ago, love it so far and can play some old games with the Gt940m

x220 for portability/battery life. Get the i7 model, add some ram yourself if it only has 4gb, and replace the hard drive with an ssd. ~$300.
