Used one, it worked just fine, but it didn't improve workflow or enjoyment

almost had my bachelors thesis about this (strapped to your chest and used as vr input)
before accepting it as a topic, I just asked if I can try it out for a second - was absolutely not going to work. As soon as the background changes the slightest bit, everything fucks up. It was fixed by an update, I think, but the device was still kinda shit

My roommate is literally writing his BA about this; where are you from?

(I've done a decent bit of development work with one of these)
They tried to market it as a new way to use your computer when it's really just an expensive toy. There's almost nothing you can do with it that you can't do more precisely with a touchscreen. It's not even precise enough to be used for gaming - it's just kinda frustrating. Also, it demands entirely too much CPU time (the hardware's nothing special, you're really just buying the software.)
But damn if it doesn't make a cool demo to see a robot version of your hand move on screen :D
