Iridium is the botnet removed version of Chromium. Use it, senpai.

Going to have to try harder than that. Especially when the binary blob was noticed immediately by freetards who actually audit the code, meaning that if it did happen again, you can be sure you'd know about it instantly. The fact that they haven't noticed anything amiss clearly means there is nothing.

Are you saying that you still trust a complex piece of software that once downloaded and executed arbitrary code written by Google?
I don't have the time nor the skill to audit all of chromium and then compile it every 6 weeks, so I just avoid it to be safe.

Just use the inox patchset.

After the Debian bug, you'd have to be a fool to trust it. If you must use a Chromium based browser, use Iridium or Inox (Arch only) with the unGoogled patchset. Some might argue how can a small fork compare in updates and security to the mainline browser, and it can't but that's the price for privacy.

tl;dr no, its not, but if you are not going full red pill, then it doesn't matter.

Does it matter? You can install those plugins yourself if you'd like.
