What was this for and why did only one ever come out? Was there really no market for this? Wasn't the performance for this really good given its size (kek)? Was the price point too high?

Was there some other reason this was just a one off?

I've a nano. Really great for small form factor PCs. Currently inside my node 202 and I'm definitely satisified. I bought it when the price dropped from 650 to 450, still kinda pricey but definitely fit my needs.

The R9 Nano had a huge market. But the price premium for HBM was too costly. At the same cost of an R9 Fury it was a no brainer. This card could've easily been a 300-400 hit card and it would've been amazing.
