Jesus Christ you are so fucking dumb, spikes aren't the problem (what are capacitors duh) the problem with the 480 is that its continuously drawing more power than the specs recommend from the PCIE rail.
There is literally no reason for a GPU to draw that amount of power continuously from the PCIe rail when it could be done from a 6x pin safely.
I swear /g/ gets dumber everytime AMD releases a GPU.
