How do you compile nginx without SSL on FreeBSD?
I tried to compile it from ports. Deselected the HTTP_SSL http_ssl_module in the make configuration options GUI. After successful build ran
> # nginx -V
and it shows...
> configure arguments: [sic] --with-http_ssl_module
WTF?!

>>55333296
relax, they're just hugging (like mommy and daddy did that one time)
excuse me sir but this is a safe for work board

From what I can tell, it's not even enabled by default in the Makefile.
You sure you didn't enable it by accident?
>>55333760
Oh wait, I can't even fucking read.
Yeah, it's on by default then.
>>55333760
it is on in my default Makefile
> # cat Makefile | grep http_ssl_module
CONFIGURE_ARGS+=--with-http_ssl_module
gonna try changing it to --without...
if it's not listening on port 443 (just on 80), is it safe to assume that http_ssl_module is turned off?
>>55333887
i think even if it was enabled at compile time it doesn't listen at 443 by default
aka its turned off
