If you read the whole article you would see that the study concludes that men and women did equally as well with the percieved gender bias removed and the reason that women didn't do as well in the industry was due to lack of self esteem and insecurity.

Way long ago, women spent a lot of time out of commission with pregnancy and no contraceptives. Men did everything for them to reproduce. We simply developed a more diverse toolset. That doesn't mean there aren't women who can do what men usually do, but we can't pretend we can undo millions of years of evolution.
