The reason visual studio is the industry standard, is because windows is the industry's target platform, and the reason it's the target platform hasn't got anything to do with how great Windows is as a software, but rather how many sheep stick with it, and again, sheep aren't supposed to know better, programmers are.
I don't break laws, therefore I don't have a problem with Windows 10.
I even made my little sister upgrade to GNU/Linux and she is happy for it. It is faster and more convenient. She particularly likes the software store. Besides, I get to look at her browsing history when she needs help with something because dad doesn't know shit about GNU/Linux.
