I have an h110 50$ MSI mobo with a strix 960 of to1450mhz with a evga bronze 500 watt PSU. And I've never had a single problem with my mobo in the months I've been doing heavy gaming on it. In fact I've run doom on the highest settings and beat the game in one sitting. Wanna know how my mobo didn't melt

Pcie can't supply over 75 watts. If it drew 100+ watts it would burn up the traces and blow caps. I HAVE a strix 960 on a cheap pos msi mobo and it's fine. My PSU is a cheap evga bronze 500 watt and it's FINE. It probably draws well over 125 watts from the 6pin and that's fine. Most cards over draw. Youre fucking stupid.
