Alright, I need a bluray drive that can play 3D movies. Please don't suggest drives that you THINK should work based on specs. Personal experience is what I'm after. I've looked at a few drives already and people have both said that they could and couldn't play 3D movies. Yes I have a 3D tv.
Also maybe suggest really really good pc fans. I've got some cooler master ones and they're not good enough.

blu-ray is a specification
if the drive is a 2x blu-ray then it can play real-time blu-ray 3d

This is exactly what I said I didn't want.
I have a BH16NS40, it's pricey but the best internal bluray drive i could find when I was building my current PC.
It does 3D playback and even reads UHD blurays (though you can't play them cause no UHD playback software exists)

I have one cause I encode all the blurays I buy and save a copy on my hard drives.
Hence the 18TB of HDD space.

This is the kind of answer I wanted, but fuck that price tag.

Not everything is online nigger.

I still use windows 7 and haven't submitted to the big black spy dick that is windows 10 like you.

yeah, it's $100 from newegg where I got mine and that was the cheapest I could find it.
They go for $105-110 on ebay.

Why do you expect anybody on /g/ to have personal experience with 3D Blu-ray in 2016?
Why do you require personal experience when 3D Blu-ray is a specification that has a clear definition?
Why are you so retarded?

I mean... I was here and I replied.

Noctua fans are the best on the market. If you think $100 is steep for a 3D Blu-ray drive, you best stick with your Cooler Master fans.
>>55326521
>Why do you require personal experience when 3D Blu-ray is a specification that has a clear definition?
Because I don't look at specs. I look at the actual, factual function of items. Specs could say X item is better than Y, but in actual use Y works slightly better or performs better in areas more relevant to your needs.
>but thats stupid
That's me being safe and not falling for memes or shills.
>>55326562
The fans are important, the drive is not. The drive just needs to function in the way I need but the fans needs to freeze my computer solid.
>>55326417
>all those drives
Holy shit get a NAS
>>55326649
Why? I have room for 2 more in my currently installed 3.5" drive bays. I have room for another 3x3.5" drive bay, and I can also add a 2x5.25" to 3x3.5" drive bay in the front.
This system is always on so it acts as a NAS anyway for all my media, any computer or phone on the network can access the media drives.
