but while this is definitely good news for amd, nvidia is still gonna sell like hotcakes. nvidiots are out there buying GTX 1080s even though they only have 1080p monitors. AMD has no counter attack to nvidia's powerful brand loyalty.

1060 wont even released until 2017. Nvidia is still having production issues with the 1070/80 they even said this. Right now Nvidia has nothing to compete with the RX480 since 970 is still 70 bucks more expensive.

Damn AMD did good here. Now that they sold out of the reference cards they can let us know when other versions are going to hit.

It seems AMD is withholding this year and next year when VR gaming really kicks off with XBOX Scorpio there wont be a point to buying a high end gaming pc product. I think for 1080p gaming 480 is an excellent choice though.
