My hardware works perfectly and all the applications I need for work run perfectly on it.
I'm not even tempted to upgrade anything except getting extra external hard drives now and then.

that's perfectly fine. personal security is a large factor for financial endeavors, especially those regarding technology. do what makes you happy, anon. though i must say, upgrading parts feels very nice.

this is fine but i cant stand my desktop unless i upgrade it every 2-3 years.
mainly storage and gpu
i have a 6 year old laptop i never upgrade them or mobiles because theres no point.

It's a trap. Over you upgrade one thing you need to slowly upgrade everything.
