although there is less load on first cpu to help with overhead, but I seriously doubt that's an issue since they most likely used an i7.
My point is people buying AMD because it's better on a budget but then not getting their money's worth because drivers hold them back on their budget hardware.
This is usually an issue with people buying x80 and below radeon cards since they'll pair it with a budget cpu like an i5 6400 or i3 6100, or older processors like an i5 3470 or 4160.

7950+i5 2400 here.
Never buying AMD again.
Tested my friends old gtx670 in my pc last week out of curiosity and saw ~10-15fps increase in battlefield 4 on ultra settings, depending on the map.
Was finally getting a stable 60fps, even though an overclocked 7950 should be able to provide that.
