OP here, looking at the oneplus 3

I'm just about to pull the trigger on this phone. It looks great and I don't really mind the 1080p screen

my only question is, will it flake out on me after a year because it's cheaper ?
>>
>physical keyboard shrinking my precious screen size

into lö trash

are you blind?

it's a great phone, get it.

The keyboard slides down and it's a 5.5 inch phone you downie cunt.

I too want to know this.

Actual priv owner here. the keyboard is botched, it is horrible to type on. but damn I've never seen a better screen on a phone in a long time. It's 300 dollars, I'd take it if I were you.
>>
>>55305453
I had a OnePlus one for a few years until my friend dropped it and cracked the screen. Currently typing in a OP2 that I've had for a few months now. No problems whatsoever.

>>
>>55304816
A new, unlocked Priv, for $300? Yeah, I think that might be worth it.

I didn't mind mine, except for some of the carrier preloaded shit that made it un-usable.
>>
>>55304816
Damn I should have gotten one instead of the HTC 10

OP here back again with another question

I realized that I could get an LG G5 for just a bit more, which is worth it to me because I want a swappable battery and I've heard the oneplus has a reputation for lasting less than a year

Also : Why are all of these phones so cheap all of a sudden?

You're also doing it wrong
>>
>>55307625
I don't really care for the toolbelt. I'd love to get a Classic for the trackpad but it lacks a removable battery.
>>
No.
>>
The priv is probably the most under rated android flagship on the market.

Even if you don't use the keyboard it doubles as a trackpad meaning you won't dirty up your screen with fingerprints.

Besides an actual keyboard decreases the chance of typos dramatically and it has grill speakers like classic HTC.
>>
>>55308498
If I hadn't found out how great BB10OS is I'd probably be rocking a Priv right now. Really upset the dual OS rumours weren't true.
>>
I kinda want one but I am cucked on Verizon. EBay had one with all the accessories but at $500 it was an easy pass. I just wonder shitty the phone really is with them getting flipped for so cheep.
>>
>>55304855

Who the fuck
>>
can't op just watch youtube reviews or what
>>
>>55305353
I don't get it. What the fuck are you guys putting on your phones that require beyond 32GB? If you absolutely love your FLACs, then I understand 64GB. But otherwise...why?!

I keep some emergency TV shows and movies for when I'm stuck without entertainment

looks rad. If I wasn't living a lifestyle where rugged mobile computing was a necessity, I would consider that device.

well, which is it?
>>
>>55304816
Nah, buy an RX 480.
>>
I enjoy my priv but I like under rated devices. I replaced everything I could to get it to look and feel like webos on my pre3.
>>
>>55305326
This is true, but the the Priv is good minus the battery issues and the fact that it runs Android.

BB10 was great. Still is, but no updates are coming down for security or the Android runtime for the few apps one would like to use.

>>55305353
What are you smoking? It has an mSD slot. Every modern BB will have one as that's how they run their over-the-top voice encryption software.
>>
>>55304816
I would say so, yes.
>>
>>55311999
It was originally at&t but is now unlocked from them. Usually this means (depending on manufacturer) that it won't support all bands that would make it fully compatible with carriers like T-Mobile or euro carriers.

STV100-1 has Qi Wireless charging and is what you would get buying at shopblackberry.

I had bought a BB Passport last week.
Yes, last week and it is literally the best phone I have ever used. Had a choice between that and a S7 edge but preferred the passport. You can also side load android apps
>>
>>55305789
How does it compare to the Bold keyboard. I still have that phone because of typing on a glass screen is retarded.
>>
>>55315264
How's the battery life and Android apps? I heard shit's crashing all over for complex apps
>>
>>55304816
This phone is 600 dollar on my country, and it's the discount price
capitalism why

Try OpenVPN. kek.

Is that the phone that's supposed to be secure?

I actually like music and have quite a bit of it. Why can't manufacturerers just include an SD card? It cannot be that much trouble and is the one reason I'm not getting a One Plus 3 or have never owned a Nexus. And why are you grandstanding for less features? Even if you don't use it, it's still there for someone who does.

I have a BB Q10. A huge turnoff is that you can't get root in the Android runtime. Most of the apps work unless:
1) they need google shit (which you can install but I don't want it)
2) devs make it so that it runs only under genuine Android phones (my bank's application is like that; they made a BB10 one but haven't updated it in ages so it doesn't work anymore, fucking twats)
Had occasional minor problems (like one local transit application crashing when trying to select time other than "now") but it's fine overall. I kinda wish there was no Android so we would have more native BB10 programs. At least Android is getting closer to BB Hub functionality with the N version so maybe it will finally become a good operating system in the future.
>>
>>55304816
For a carrier model, absolutely not.
Only buy factory unlocked, and accept nothing less.
>>
>>55317476
I believe the reason they don't include SD cards is it reduces costs in design and manufacturing. Secondly, it eliminates memory problems, as I'm sure some dumb fuck would go to a department store, purchase a shit-tier SD card, and then complain, "m-muh phone is slow-- fuck android, im going back to apple1!".

Because of this, major manufactures will design a phone with their own memory specs to eliminate compatibility specs, and save them a ton of cash eliminating the possibility of a faulty SD card if a customer tries to RMA their phone for warranty.

The third reason is to sell higher memory phones at a premium. Look at Apple and Google's pricing for more memory. They bank $$$ for selling the same exact phone with doubled or tripled memory.

Porn.
>>
>>55317476
it's not a coincidence all the major players also have their own streaming services...
>>

Maybe.
Could you be thinking about the Blackphone [2]?
>>
>>55317476
Working on 200gb on laptop, stuck with note 5 now, ugh.
>>
>>55317476
Because SD slots feed the oversized monstrosity that is Microsoft

This is why you should purchase the new Apple iPhone 6S Plus instead.
>>
>>55318539
No, there's a Blackberry phone that has TV commercials.
>>
>>55305453
I would say almost certainly not. Unlike
>>55305824
Im still using my OPO, brought it as soon as I could near release, and its still going golden.
Was considering making the upgrade today, but just didnt see a reason why, my OPO is good enough to keep my going as long as I need
>>
>>55304816
Isn't the keyboard too small for typing? It looks so tiny
>>
$300? Maybe
$720? Fuck no

Nope, it's great for typing. The keys are shaped in such a way that you could accurately press them with your big toe
