Do some basic research before asking questions. /g/ is not tech support.

>GNOME
Eye candy, no functionality. Facebook Machine. Poorfag hardware friendly
>KDE
Looks boring but polished, tons of functionality. Not poorfag hardware friendly
>>55298934
gnome is crap and uses too much system resources, while kde is prettier crap that uses even more.
KDE is used to install a nice suite of programs you can use with a lightweight window manager, while gnome is used by retards.
>>55298995
KDE can be tweaked though whereas GNOME kinda looks decent, even ootb
>>55298934
>KDE
Beautiful, fluid, masterfully crafted
>Gnome
Nasty foot fetish software
Shoddy programming, deprecated, bloated
>>55298995
Neither are poorfag friendly.
mate/xfce/etc are poorfag friendly.
You cant really run gnome smoothly without acceleration and good hdd

>GNOME
Great at looking pretty, but garbage at functionality. GNOME developers care about form over function. They also desperately try to mimic Windows' design internally.
>KDE
Loaded up the arse with features and bloat, and everything is interconnected. Looks like shit out of the box though, unless you're into the “chink plastic ripoff” aesthetic. KDE devs understand customization and integration but not aesthetics.
