I have a free sync monitor, but I want to buy one of the new 1080 cards from Nvidia. Or Should I wait 6 months for vega?
Also, Freesync vs Gsync thread.

I'm in the same boat.
It's a bit frustrating given that Nvidia's cards do support VESA Adaptive Sync (via DP) they simply disable it in the drivers.

Have they said they're going to enable it in the future..?
What's the deal with that?

Why would they enable that when theyre releasing their tax?
>>55292427
Of course not. Some day they will do it silently when the G-sync meme has died. Laptop G-sync is already Freesync :^)

They have said nothing directly. They did say their focus is Gsync.
who needs freesync when a 1080 will run everything at 100+ fps anyway

I'm not the most technologically savy person, but I still think it makes an impact. I get tearing even at 300 FPS in CSGO without freesync on.
