I'm starting uni soon and looking for a cheap laptop. Is the Toshiba Chromebook 2 a good laptop for light usage like school work? Not going to be downloading games and shit I just need something for schoolwork and will probably download MT4 along with other documents I'll need for school but that's about it.

16 GB SS HD and 4 GB Ram I figured that would be good enough. Any other recommendations are welcome.

You know it runs Chrome OS (Linux), right? Not Windows.

You should be able to run some stuff through Wine, but you'll lose some performance.

Also, 16 GB is not a lot. You may want to replace the ssd with a bigger one.
