I want caps that differ for finger, to help me learn touch typing.

A board with custom caps (per key) is available at one of the major resellers, but it's on the expensive side (as all things custom)

Are the RGB backlit keyboards capable of setting up such a scheme?

since the spacebar is the largest key by a significant amount hhkb uses a little spring to keep it feeling weighted the same as the others but it is the biggest offender in making a slapping noise when you let go of it

Won one of these on Y!JP, expensive as fuck but oddly enough my HHKB Type-S was bought cheaper. 21k vs. this 29.5k.

And this is a limited to 1000 ever made, all 30g silenced. Curious to see what it's like going from 45g silenced.
>>
>>55286971
i have a standard 30g full sized jap layout board and 30g is great but i find that since im not very used to hitting backspace on a short key and especially in a different spot than in my hhkb i press it a few too many times
30g 10/10 in proper layout i would die for an ansi 10th anni

If not then I'm considering getting these from WASD but on the ISO UK layout. I know WASD aren't the best available but given that I don't need to compromise on the lack of Cyrillic characters and the colour of the caps... perhaps it's not all too bad?

If cyrillic with ANSI layout is ok, try geekhack groupbuys. Shadovved just finished an enjoypbt one and might have some leftovers. If not, there is one from originative that will start shortly.

I think SP let people run way too many group buys and now they're rushing through production without checking shit like this.

They're seriously booked out for a full year, there's a Valentines set that won't be done till after Valentines next year. They only have a few SA profile machines, not nearly enough to keep up with demand in a timely manner.

You could try using a proxy service. Have the shipment sent to a US address, and then sent from there to you, though I don't know if it'd still make sense then in terms of price.

You can also get gaterons on ebay and aliexpress.

dude, duh. Those things are like 30$ minimum per shipment, crazy.
It would probably still be cheaper than AliExpress, but I don't need 120 switches anyway, so I'd be wasting money both ways.

Because the stock keycaps on the pok3r aren't good. They're thicc, but the legends are laser-etched, hence will fade with time (quickly so). The PBT caps are s good selling point, but actually nonsensical due to inferior printing method, especially now that you can get a barebones version of the pok3r on WASD.

Though that's hardly my only gripe with the thing.

Pic unrelated, just makes you realize how fucking huge 100%s are.

People say Kailh has inconsistent switches that break quickly. I didn't believe it because switches are so simple how can they break? I don't think you understand where you are.

"Universally" when said here does not include gaymers from /r/pcmasterrace, customers on amazon, or "official reviewers" (literally wtf does that mean?).

You should really leave this place, because sooner or later the buyers remorse will kick in. And I'm not trying to be rude, but you actually dumped a whole lot of money on a keyboard, that's universally [on /mkg/] regarded as a piece of trash.
>>
>>55315013
"Official reviewers" get paid to read spec lists and demonstrate every gay RGB effect their keyboard has and to say that new MX Speed switch is something special, special enough to switch from a Novatouch.

Will be in a bit more than a week

According to leddit and geekhack you can find a fair amount of keyboards around akihabara. Prolly not a massive amount, but still a whole lot more than you'd find at hardware stores around the rest of the world, given the proximity to china and korea and the fact that filco and topre are both Japanese brands.

Not the guy you're replying to, but there's good reasons as to why corsair is shat upon:

>Gaymurr aesthetic
Admittedly this is subjective, but most people around here don't like it.

>Non-standard bottom row
One of the nice things about mechs is that you can modify them a whole lot, for example replacing keycaps. Good luck finding anything else than lasered shit ABS that's just as shitty as the stock caps that fits your bottom row.

>overpriced
170 bucks could have gotten you a far better keyboard from a manufacturer that isn't known for horrible software, dead LEDs and a plethora of other issues

You fucked up. Go return it while you can and come back for some proper advice on what to do with your money, or just leave this place altogether.

Those are called ortholinear keyboards and that one is Terminus Mini that you can get for 80$ here:
http://unikeyboard.io/product/terminus-mini/

It's acrylic, which isn't that great. If you want something better, you'll have to find a Planck kit somewhere or build one yourself (which is surprisingly easy, but is close to double your budget).
