you could probably use it productively, not like it's super destitute with DDR and AGP support but if you're already posting here, I doubt it's any better in raw power than what you have now, it can be a fun little box for experimenting and playing around, having an extra piece of hardware around is good for that

in my experience CPU and RAM speed is more important for handling JS than lots of RAM, I've got 1.5 GB in the PPC Mac I'm posting from right now and my P4 gear from the same era with half of that blow it away on the web
