You can get better sound quality for less money with wired headphones - expect to pay 50-100% more for a decent Bluetooth headphone over a similar wired version. That said, if you're like me, you can't stand wires attached to your head, and the extra cost/quality trade off is worth it.
I'd recommend headphones that support aptX, which is a high quality Bluetooth audio codec. Keep in mind both the headphones and the transmitter need to support the aptX codec (not just regular Bluetooth). Personally I own the Audio Technica ATH-WS99BT, along with the Sennheiser BTD 500 USB dongle, both of which support aptX. It's a $300 set up all in, which is a hefty premium for what is probably the sound quality equivalent of $100-$150 headphones (Audio Technica sells the wired ATH-WS99 for $150, which I assume is pretty similar sound quality wise).
