Not OP but I resent that so many places demand a phone number these days. It's obvious they only want it to determine your real identity, and probably your real-time location along with it.
I wish I could do 2FA with a dedicated gadget instead of my phone. I think you still can with WoW, since blizz was selling dedicated authenticators before smartphones were common.
