Any TVs these days that use good panels are invariably going to be "smart" TVs. You simply can't avoid them if you want a high quality display.
So be sure to use a Roku, or Shield or HTPC or whatever instead, as those "smart" features are horseshit.

I already have a roku from my broken dumb tv. So I plan to keep using it. I will never connect my TV to the internet, thats asinine.
