My closed loop watercooler pump just died on me,
should I invest on a Noctua fan or is it just a meme?

Just purchase any fan, all the fans are the same. Get one of the cheapest ones for $5.

Some are a little better (higher CFM)
Cougar seems to make the highest CFM ones that don't require odd power supplies.
Get a 212 Evo+ and two 75CFM Cougars.
Works very very well and costs like $60

Noctua fans? Overpriced. Noctua heatsinks? Best purchase ever. Installated without a problem and temps never rise above 75°.

That's objectively wrong. $5 will get you some throwaway sleeve bearing garbage.

* Noctua CPU heatsink instead of getting another watercooler system.

Can confirm, Noctua heatsinks are the shit. I love the fan, too, but I had money to burn on it and I _really_ need quiet in my life.

PC parts are not a good investment.

What model did you guys go with for the heatsink? Also, how quiet are we talking?
>>55247448
I have a D15 with a 6600k @ 4.5Ghz. Temps never go above 60~65c in full load and is dead silent.

NH-U14s. Besides the SSD, this thing is the quietest thing in my computer.
