why do you prioritize the way you do?
what would you use this laptop for?
>>55239273
Could you do one, OP?
I don't understand.
>>55239317
Ah, I got it.

cpu is most important to me
gpu is a close second place
gotta have good ram next
if there's enough in the budget, i'd spend the next chunk on display
then try to get a nice ssd
battery life ain't all that important to me
but it is more important than peripherals, weight and looking cool combined.

long battery life, and mid grade gpu
either a student who's always on the go, or a facebook addicted mom - how wrong am i?
>>55239393
It's a goddamn laptop, it's not like I'd need powerful GPU on it - I'd be either watching movies/anime on it, writing something in Word or just browsing websites. I've grown used to not being able to do gpu-intensive things on my old and busted computer, so I won't be playing games (nor edit videos) on it.
And yeah, I'm a student (although not always on the go)

9. long battery life
8. display
7. storage
6. peripheral support
5. cpu
4. ram
3. gpu
2. lightweight
1. looks cool
what do I win? Also, “>5 hours at full use” being top tier? Are you fucking shitting me? That's piss poor. A battery should last weeks.

and by “8. display” I don't mean “HURR DURR ALL THE PIXELS HERF DERP”, because getting 4K on a laptop is pretty much the dumbest fucking thing you could do

>“>5 hours at full use” being top tier? Are you fucking shitting me? That's piss poor. A battery should last weeks.
since you chose batt life @ 9 and lightweight @ 2
>you win a barely portable lapcrusher with 2 weeks of battery life, but it weighs 300 lbs.
