Hey /g/.
I'm in the market for a new mouse. My Logitech G500 died yesterday. I got a crappy $7 replacement from walmart, but it's obviously not cutting it.
I need a mouse for playing Overwatch, CS:GO and the upcoming Quake game. I've been getting tons of suggestions, but I have no idea how to come to a decision on this one.
I've only had an mx518 and a G500 my entire computer career, so should I just get a new logitech mouse or take a chance on getting some goofy Razer shit or Zowie?

I suggest hp x9000 omen.
Very good mouse, simple, effective, bought it like that, not disapointed at all

thanks, i'll check it out
See if it has warranty and contact logitech.
I told em my g700s left click is wearing down and they're sending me the same model for free. I don't even have to send it in.
Hijacking this thread.
I currently have a G500 too, now it might be time to upgrade soon.
Now something I love about the G500 is the 3rd button by the thumb.
The new G502 doesn't seem to have one.
Anyone got a recommendation of a mouse with the same button layout as the G500?

G502 does have the third button by the thumb, strongly recommend it. I moved from the g500 and the g502 feels and tracks much nicer
[nothing will ever compare to the g9x though]
>tfw a MX510 quality mouse will never be manufactured again, ever
RIP life

sniper buttons are retarded

G400S is the single best mouse ever made. They've discontinued it because people were buying too many of them and fewer of the more expensive mice, but if you find one, most definitely buy it.

really?
One has pretty low standards, if a mouse with no cable stress relief, whining capacitor and shitty micro-switches gets a good score.
anything in zowies current lineup, any optical logitech mice, newer deathadders
mionix mice are good, but theyre heavy as bricks so i dont really like them
there are also a few good one-off mice like the finalmouse, the ninox aurora or the ducky secret. those mice are a bit cheaper but also suffer from qc problems in some situations
ec1/2-a is 10/10

Clarification
Low control speed of between 1 - 1.5 m/s. ZERO hardware acceleration and 1:1 precision. Refresh rate is low be default but can be OC'd in hardware.

Bought a box of 50 of these mice for $10 USD on ebay
>chair when Logitech moved third thumb button in new G500 so now you have to move your thumb to reach different clusters
Any other mice with 3 nicely grouped thumb buttons?
