I've lost more data to HFS+ in the 6 years I've been using it than in the previous 10 that I used FAT32 and NTFS. In fact, I've never had any issues with corruption before I moved to OS X. I can't find the site anymore but there used to be a guide that would walk you through file corruption on HFS+ with 100% accuracy, that's just how shitty it is.

No, I know exactly how "great" it is. Before my iPhone, I had four Android phones in succession, all rooted, all with the capacity to "actually manage files". In practice, doing so turned out to be clunky and fiddly, and modifying system files breaks OTA updates anyway (integrity checks), and it ended up being more trouble than it was worth. Especially when I switched to an iPhone and realized that I could accomplish most of the same ends without modifying the phone at all (I jailbroke anyway for unlimited LTE tethering).
I switched from a Note 4 to a 6S Plus. I wish I had a file manager, but I'm doing just fine without it. I will definitely jailbreak if and when it becomes available.
I knew the limitations of the device when I got it. I just love the ease of use and integration with my other Apple products.
I definitely think that Android has merits and is awesome if you like to tweak your phone. Fanboys are retarded

I used iOS for years. Sure you can get by without a file manager, but it sucks. iFile was the first thing I installed when I jailbroke. For the record don't try using Android's downfalls against me, I use neither iOS nor Android.
