Are there any other decent torrent clients? I've been trying out qBittorrent but there were just a few too many problems. I've had my entire torrent list wiped after some unknown reason, and had all of my torrents stuck at "Stalled" without any peers or seeders loading.
I don't want to deal with this client that has so many little problems.
>>
>>55223998
QBT has all the problems you've listed, but not everyone get them right away.

Deluge is fairly heavy on CPU usage, even when idle, uses a ton of RAM and shits itself every so often.

Transmission is almost okay, but feels like its held together by glue.

Tixati and uTorrent are decent but closed source and therefore automatically crap. Some people swear by uTorrent 2.21, but then you're using something both proprietary and ancient.

Rtorrent and KTorrent are unix only so can't recommend them for everyone.

So yeah, there is no brilliant torrent client in 2016 that checks every box.
>>
rtorrent on linux is great
on windows qbittorent is the least shitty
>>
>>55223998
Deluge is fine

Use Deluge, simple and fast.

Maybe this will not be taken seriously but you could also take a look at Tixati

I was using Deluge but switched to uTorrent 2.2.1. I get faster download and more connections with the same settings.

the logo design is actually clever, it's like the TIXATI letters on top of each other, but the execution of it is top pleb tier

Is it relevant to use uTorrent nowadays since there's spyware and ads built-in?
>>
>>55223998
is there an easy way to migrate your library from vuze and keep the indexing, categories, tags and such? especially now that my 3 TB seagate drive crashed i may as well start fresh with a better torrent client, but i want to keep my remaining torrents and files. or am i stuck with this adware bloated piece of shit?

>>
>>55224304

>>
>>55224208

ever since upgrading to windows 10, i've had issues with my wireless adapter copping out while using p2p clients like qbittorrent.

for whatever reason, even while using jdownloader, once i download over 600mbps, it seems that my wireless adapter dies AND affects whether other usb devices are even detected.

does anyone else have this problem?

Qbittorrent should be below Transmission desu.
>>
>>55224455

same. i'm thinking it has something to do with it not being optimized for windows 10.
>>
What are you fucking nerds doing to your qbittorrent? Mine just werks™ and has never given me any problems
>>
>>55224522

qb worked amazingly as a replacement for utorrent.

i can't believe people are still using vuze after its induction of ads and bs multimedia platforms over a decade ago.

I've been using uTorrent 2.2.1 since it came out. This security issue is overrated. If its so ''dangerous'' why do the Private trackers still have it whitelisted?
>>
>>55224562
i didn't get ads until the last update a few weeks ago

out of necessity to keep its users since it's still fairly popular?

Personal opinion. I think most users in a pt use libtorrent or qbit. uT 2.2.1 is more and more scarce.
Thats what i've seen at least. Its There because its a stable client.

Pick your poison, but note that java overhead is constant so for <100 torrents Vuze might seem like a memory hog but at over 5000 it still runs just as good while qBt collapses.
>>
>>55224800
qBittorrent, Deluge and Transmission are all valid choices

This

Nobody in private trackers uses STALLEDtorrent. It's not a meme that it's really shitty at connecting.
Private trackers are Deluge, Transmission, and uTorrent, with the rTorrent seedboxes.

what >>55224848 said.
Try all 3 and see wich one gives less problems for you.

i already tried all of them, familia
qbit JUSTd on me, Deluge got blocked from my private tracker and the windows version of Transmission is lacking and sometimes fucks the download (say an album, forgets to download the first song)
>>
>>55224909
You do realise that you need to configure every client. You cant use it out of the box.
>>
>>55224831
yeah vuze hasn't been too bad for me, i'd like to try something else if there's something that's genuinely better but everything else mentioned ITT sound like they're shit

he is lying, he could not have used Tixati with any private tracker.
