The world’s largest fried chicken chain has come up with a wacky new idea that will fill your stomach as well as your iPhone.
As part of a promotion in India, KFC has introduced a new limited edition “Watt A Box” that packs all the greasy finger-lickin’ chicken you could want, along with with a USB port and portable battery that eaters can use to recharge their iPhones with while grubbing.
Watt A Box packs a 6,100mAh rechargeable battery and a Lightning USB cable. There’s also a mini-USB port for Android users, and it appears that the battery can be removed and reused
Unfortunately, it’s currently only available at a couple of locations in Delhi and Mumbai as part of a weeklong promotion through Facebook. No word on if the box will ever make its way to the U.S., but I’m not sure I’d be willing to eat at KFC just to get one anyway.

Mine can go 2 days of use with out of charge since if has some fancy large quick charging battery as a feature but it has no MicroSD slot. I don't know if the trade off was worth it. I mostly listen to flacs instead of mp3 and it's sure doesn't hold much flac at only 32gb. It was free though.

This idea is fucking stupid, people are going to accidentally throw away batteries left and right. I can see paying for electricity in the same place you pay for and eat your food, but not not like that video is showing.
I want to start a company that makes vending power outlets. Like it would be a power outlet with usb ports, say on your table inside a kfc in India, that you had to drop currency into for the outlet to power on, so you can charge your stuff while you are at the restaurant eating. that way they wouldn't have to rent out batteries or other stupid shit like that, it would be mains power and it would cost money for the consumer so people wouldn't be able to take advantage of it.
It would be clearly labeled with electrical specifications and you would have to provide your own cables, to reduce liability risks
