I need to know more about elixir

Seems like a cool language how do I start getting involved and coding for it? Don't care if it won't take off just wanna functional programming language to get into. This one seems like its worth it

I kinda need to be baby stepped into this. Never done open source shit before only school projects with classmates

is this what comes with laravel?

it's a dynamically typed functional language with very little support anon... really depends on what you want to do?

Webdev? Use Phoenix

Server backend? Xen

Anything other than that doesn't have a framework and needs to be created from scratch

Even though Phoenix is shaping up to be a great framework, it's also possible to use raw Plug to write some very simple services.

Elixir (mostly using Phoenix) has replaced Node as my default answer for one-off API projects these days.
