Need some help /g/ I have a shitty 1080p lg monitor and want to upgrade to a 1440p monitor for gaming and programming. I also plan on having a 1440 x 900 vertical monitor for the side.

I'm currently looking at these:
Asus VX24AH 24" IPS - €260
AOC Q2577PWQ 25" IPS - €290
Dell U2515H ADZG 25" IPS - €330

Which of these should I pick? I live in Ireland and don't know if these are good prices or not either or what else I should go for? I hear good things about the dell but is it worth the extra money?

144hz smoothness is better than 1440p meme

Do you really think so? I don't think 1440p is a meme, 1080p UST doesn't seem high red enough, the pixels of diagonal lines forming that stair pattern is just far too visible for me at 1080p

Wait..you see stars when you look at your monitor?

144hz is a meme.

Owner of a U2525H here.
This monitor is great for programming and gaming. I plan on getting a second one.
But if you're not working on UI/UX or anything where color is important, you might as well get the Asus one.

Jagged edges.

Either way i think they have 1440p 144hz monitors now. Ive never used higher then 1080p but i assure you 144 is no meme. Its so butter smooth. Going back to 60hz is like going back to 30fps console games.

>tfw my current mounting hardware doesn't have enough room for all these monitors
Good thing I can get these for $20 each

This a shame I don't live in America then

I get that 144hz is much nicer, but I won't be building a gaming PC that would be able to run 1440p at 144hz and those monitors are a lot more expensive than the 60hz ones

Like the M in the first picture. Even with max AA I see those jagged lines everywhere with 1080p and I'd much rather get rid of those than have 144hz

i have the 27inch version of the dell

very nice

thin bezel

Do you reckon its worth the extra cost over the other monitors?
