I am running a virtual machine with Windows 7 (64 bit). I am completely capable of running every other game on the battle.net client except for Overwatch.

After a google search, I found that the issue comes down to requiring DirectX 10.1 or higher", however, I have DirectX11 running.

I am using 2GB of VRAM, so it shouldn't be a problem at all.

My actual specs:

OS: Fedora 23
Kernel: x86_64 Linux 4.5.6-200.fc23.x86_64
CPU: Intel Core i5-4570 CPU @ 3.6GHz
GPU: GeForce GTX 950
RAM: 23996MiB

Would anyone be able to help me out? The only reason I am actually duel-booting right now is so I can play Overwatch, which is why I am trying to run it in a virtual machine... because fuck Windows.

Why would I install something inferior to Arch?

This comment smells like summer. I bet you think Java is a good language, too.

I don't think you can run it on Linux. You're going to have to wait a decade before Wine is capable of running today's overwatch.

> neurosuggesting winedb wasn't the first place I checked, only to see it's "garbage" rating and is completely inoperatable due to it's requirement for DirectX11 (which is the second sentence in my original post)

here's a clue:

VMWare doesn't support Direct 3D 11 yet, VirtualBox does
